Commonly known as the Fiddle-leaf Fig, this spectacular house plant is grown for its impressive foliage. Each leaf has a stiff, leathery feel with a distinctive shape and pale, prominent veins. Ficus lyrata ‘Compacta’ is a handsome evergreen, with a lovely glossy sheen that reflects the light beautifully. Although it is a relatively slow growing plant, if given the correct growing conditions it will ultimately form a tall, slender specimen that makes a fine focal point for your home.
